There are two meanings behind the name of this project-- “miss dance”. One of the implications is the fact that my subject of this project is a professional dance teacher who is often referred by the students as Ms. Mei. Another idea behind this name is my subject's transition from a dance performer to a dance teacher. For this project, I wanted to convey her passion for dance by photographing one of her dance classes.
